Five-minute overview
Meet Ghosthub
Ghosthub is a native macOS terminal for local and remote multiplexer fleets. It brings tmux sessions, Herdr sessions, and optional tmux-backed worktrees into one sidebar without replacing the tools that own them.
Use tmux and Herdr together on the same hosts. Ghosthub handles discovery, presentation, SSH keepalives, and reconnect while each multiplexer keeps its own panes, layout, history, key bindings, and processes.

Your session fleet in one place
Tmux and Herdr sessions appear side by side for every supported host. Open either with its ordinary client, create new sessions where the backend is available, and keep tmux-backed project work visible in the same hierarchy.
Ghosthub detaches when you close a presentation. Explicit lifecycle actions remain separate. Explore session behavior.
02
One view across Mac and SSH hosts
Add destinations already understood by OpenSSH, including routed hosts and exe.dev VMs. Ghosthub keeps remote presentations alive through ordinary interruptions and reconnects to the exact running session it can confirm.
03
Project context when you want it
Register a repository to create tmux-backed worktrees from branches or GitHub pull requests. Git is optional for standalone tmux and Herdr sessions.
04
Move through the fleet quickly
Search sessions, hosts, projects, worktrees, settings, and common actions from the Command Palette instead of navigating the sidebar by hand.
05
Build your command center
Use independent macOS windows and tabs for different tmux or Herdr sessions, then hide each sidebar when the terminal should fill the frame.
06
Make the terminal yours
Ghosthub uses libghostty with its own isolated configuration. Tune fonts and colors without inheriting Ghostty.app state, and optionally style new tmux sessions created by Ghosthub.
Privacy
Anonymous usage data
Packaged builds send at most one anonymous application-active event per day, with no host, repository, session, path, command, or terminal data. Disable it any time in Settings. Read the privacy details.
That’s it
Bring the tools you already use
Ghosthub works with tmux and Herdr rather than asking you to replace them. Your sessions remain ordinary backend sessions, available from their own clients even when Ghosthub is closed.
